Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan, Amjadullah Khan, has announced he is quitting the party as he is still with the MQM London.
He made this announcement in a private television interview on Monday and said he had resigned from MQM Pakistan as that party was not capable of serving the people.
When asked whether he was in favour of incarcerated Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar as the MQM London had also demanded his release, Amjadullah said Akhtar’s trial was being delayed and if cases were against him he should be allowed bail so he could serve the people.
He also alleged that some people in the MQM-Pakistan were involved in China-cutting, a euphemism for land-grabbing.
