LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has parried a question on extension in service of the army chief Gen Raheel Sharif and changed the topic while talking to the media at the London Airport.
During his media talk, a reporter of a specific TV channel said that the speech Nawaz had made in the UN was praiseworthy. He said that the UK army chief, while talking to a Pakistani TV channel, had praised his Pakistani counterpart on the anti-terror war. He said considering all this could it be expected that he would be given an extension in service. Nawaz replied that some other question be asked and then took up another topic.
