A minor boy fell prey to a stray bullet while two men were murdered in separate incidents reported in the metropolis, on Friday.
Five-year-old Abu Bakr, son of Lal Din, was hit by a stray bullet while he was playing just outside his Labour Colony residence, in Sukkun police area.
He was being treated at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) but succumbed to his injuries.
Murdered
A profusely bleeding 60-year-old Bakht Ameen died on the way to the hospital after his younger brother hit him in the head with an iron rod.
Bakht Naeem was reportedly visiting Ameen at his Ameen Okhai Colony residence when the two of them had a fight over a property dispute which turned violent, an official of the Jackson police station claimed.
The accused fled from the scene. The deceased was being taken to the Civil Hospital by his family when he died.
Shahid, a 30-year-old tailor was stabbed to death with a pair of scissors by his
partner following a fight in their shop, located in Taj Market —within the jurisdiction of the Aram Bagh police station.
His body was shifted to the CHK for medico-legal formalities. SHO Aram Bagh Arif told The News that the accused escaped after having locked the main entrance.
