PPP union council candidate among three killed in Okara

LAHORE: Armed men killed three people, including a PPP candidate for the union council chairman, in the Dipalpur Tehsil of Okara on Friday. Two others received serious wounds in the incident.
According to reports, the attackers targeted the victim, Aslam Channa, at a meeting held in connection with the local government elections in Mandi Ahmedabad and fled the scene.
