Physical remand granted in murder case

OKARA: Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court No 4 Judge Muhammad Ilyas on Saturday granted seven days physical remand of two murderers of a fifth class student.
Rab Nawaz, a fifth class student of Mian Colony, was missing for the last four weeks. Later, A-Division police registered a case and arrested Nabeel and Faizan on suspicion. During investigation, the alleged accused confessed to their crime and said that they had kidnapped Rab Nawaz who died in their custody. Later, Section 7 of the ATA was also added in the FIR. The police had produced the alleged killers in the court for further investigation and recovery of the dead body of the child.
PRISONER DIES AT DISTRICT JAIL: An old prisoner died of illness at the District Jail here on Friday night.
Varyam, s/o Sohna, being tried in a murder case, was in the jail for the last five years. He died due to severe respiratory disease. His body was handed over to his family for burial.
6 HELD FOR KITE FLYING: Police on Saturday arrested six people on the charge of kite flying here.
They are Zain, Shakib Masih, Saeed, Ali Raza, Mehmood Alam and Muhammad Imran. The police recovered 1,500 kites and chemical string from their possession. The police have registered cases.
