PAL literary workshops end

National Heritage can be preserved by creating new literature. We should provide ample opportunity to our young generation to create literature independently. Creative literature can be enhanced by arranging such creative workshops as PAL arranged. Dr. Muhammad Qasim Bughio and the team of PAL duly deserve appreciation.

These views were expressed by Mohsin S. Haqqani, Secretary, National History and Literary Heritage Division, Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, during distributed shields and certificates among the coordinators and participants of workshops, held under the auspicious of Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL). He was the chief guest of this distribution ceremony. Students and Coordinators of the four workshops were also present in the ceremony.

Dr. Muhammad Qasim Bughio, chairman, PAL, informed that PAL has arranged first three days literary training ‘Fiction’, ‘Poetry’ ‘TV Drama’ &’Children Literature’ workshops to encourage and train talented students.

Students from twin cities attended the workshops. Coordinator of Fiction workshop was Muhammad Hameed Shahid, Coordinator of Poetry workshop was Dr. Ehsan Akbar, Coordinator of TV Drama workshop was Shoaib Khaliq and Coordinator of Children Literature was Dr. Iftikhar Khokhar.

Dr. Muhamamd Qasim Bughio, expressed his good experience that these workshops were very successful in their objective. Participation of the students was exclusive.
