‘Address overseas Pakistanis’ complaints’

Additional Chief Secretary Shamail Ahmad Khawaja has instructed the district administration of the province that for early redress of the complaints lodged by overseas Pakistanis, meetings of district overseas committees be held fortnightly.
He issued these instructions to the officers concerned while chairing a meeting of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), Punjab. OPC Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti, Director General Muhammad Hassan Iqbal and other officers were present while the officers of Sahiwal and DG Khan divisions participated in the meeting through video link. The additional chief secretary also instructed that proceedings regarding the redress be uploaded on the OPC web portal regularly. —Correspondent
