Govt urged to revoke property tables

KARACHI: The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has demanded withdrawal of the property valuation table issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and suggested federal and provincial governments to devise a new mechanism.

In a communication sent to Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday, the KCCI president demanded immediate withdrawal of Property Valuation Tables and recommended revival of the old system.
