FDE schools wing gets woman head

The Federal Directorate of Education has made a woman, Islamabad Model School for Girls, F-7/2, Principal Sadia Adnan, its new Director (Schools).

She has replaced deputationist Muhammad Ali Khan, who had rejoined his parent organisation, the Federal Bureau of Revenue, on August 22.

After Muhammad Ali's exit, Federal Directorate of Education Director (Training) had held the additional charge of the office of the director (schools) on interim basis.

In the recent past, Sadia Adnan, a teacher by profession, held the administrative post of the area education officer in Tarnol region on the outskirts of Islamabad.

The Federal Directorate of Education schools wing is responsible for the administration and smooth functioning of Islamabad's model schools, including 187 for boys and 204 for girls.

Also, the Federal Directorate of Education has made Islamabad Model College for Boys, I-10/1 Principal Dr Ehsan Mehmood the area education officer for Tarnol region.
