Four ‘wanted Lyari gangsters’ held

Police on Saturday rounded up four most wanted suspects in Karachi, who they said were linked with the Lyari gang war, Geo News reported.
Police conducted house-to-house searches in Rangi Wara and Koyla Godam areas in the wee hours of Saturday, and arrested four most wanted criminals, officials said.
They also claimed to have seized weapons and drugs from the possession of the suspects. However, three of the arrested men’s accomplices managed to get away during the raid.
The police did not release the identities of the arrested men.
Three criminals held
Three alleged criminals were shot and injured in a police encounter in the Malir area.
A police party shot and injured Ramzan, 29, son of Altaf, Gul Ali, 35, son of Allah Deno, Naeem, 30, son of Muhammad Hussain, all residents of Korangi town, in an encounter in Malir.
The police arrested the men and shifted them to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
