IEP promotes community service activities
Islamabad: Speakers at a function held here at Islamabad-Rawalpindi Centre of Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) called for adopting new broadcasting techniques to persuade the new generation towards positive and constructive activities.
The function was part of the IEP's ongoing activities to promote community-service and enhance professional development of new graduates in engineering field.
Key-note speaker renowned broadcaster Sarfraz Alam highlighted the recent initiatives taken in the field of broadcasting that could be used for influencing human’s mind for achieving better results in socio-economic development. He also spoke on the role of professional engineers in the broadcasting field, making it more effective for development of human resources.
He explained how the broadcast had gone through a variety of transformations, with satellite, cable DTH, G-3 altering our viewing habits and quality of life.
