As many young students got registered for another Model United Nations conference, “Karachi University Model United Nations II”, it was clarified that University of Karachi, the institution apparently backing the event, has no linkage to it and the varsity’s name is being misused.
Set to begin at a local hotel from August 26 to 28, the conference organisers did not take the university officials under confidence and no permission has been granted as per the rules and regulations of the institution. An official mentioned that the Karachi University categorically disowned and denied any affiliation with “Karachi University Model United Nations II”.
