Imran a hurdle to development, says Capt Safdar

MANSEHRA: Member National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Capt (r) Muhammad Safdar on Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan was a hurdle in the way of development and prosperity of Pakistan.

“We know Imran has no vision for development of country. He is following the policy to create hurdles in the way of prosperity,” he said at a press conference in Baffa.He added that masses would reject him in the next general elections for his anti-development role.

The federal legislator said that people had rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the country and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the masses were fed up with the politics of sit-ins.“We are here in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to bring about a positive change in the lives of people as government of so-called champions of change has failed to deliver,” he said.

The PML-N leader said that his government had earmarked Rs 4 billion for supply of natural gas to Agror and Tanawal. “Work on the Siren River bank right canal irrigation project will be launched soon which will bring revolutionary changes in the lives of people,” he added.
