Pak forces, people rendered sacrifices for world peace: Hashwani
ISLAMABAD: Hashoo Group Chairman Sadruddin Hashwani has urged all the segments of the society to put all-out efforts to make the country safe, financially strong and secure. Hashwani gave a dinner reception on the eve of Independence Day on Sunday night that was attended by Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Chairman Kashmir Committee and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, former Foreign Minister Gohar Ayub Khan, former MNA Hanif Abbassi, Major General (R) Dr Azhar Kyani, Secretary Finance Dr Waqar Masood, Ex-Ambassador Hameed Asghar Qidwai and parliamentarians, senior members of high court Bars and Supreme Court Bar and personalities from different walks of life.
The Hashoo Group chairman performed the Independence Day cake cutting ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Hashwani said Allah Almighty has gifted this country with all resources and youth of the country are hardworking. “Everyone have to work hard to make the country stronger and strengthened,” he said.
Hashwani said he did not have any interest in politics but all of us have to focus to make the homeland stronger. “It’s time to dispel the impression that there are few friends of the Pakistan in the world as Pakistani forces and people have rendered the sacrifice to make the world peaceful,” he said.
