KARACHI: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has organized a two-day “Gilgit-Baltistan Trade Show 2016” on August 9 to 10, a statement said on Thursday.
The exhibition featured 40 exhibitors, including nearly a dozen women entrepreneurs, whose products ranged from gemstones and jewelry, handicrafts, and organic agriculture products, showcasing a variety of local honey, produce and apple cider vinegar.
The event was visited by hundreds of eager locals, hotel guests and visiting senators from the Standing Committee on CPEC. Senator Siraj-ul-Haq and local officials were given tours of the exhibition, and expressed how impressed they were with the quality of products, especially those being displayed by women entrepreneurs.
