ISLAMABAD: The government has carved out a new plan to purge the country of the menace of power loadshedding with 1,000MW electricity in surplus by December 2017 -- three months before the deadline of March 2018.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who has become too vibrant after undergoing heart surgery, has decided to enter the year 2018, an election year, with a feather in his cap of ridding the country from irritating power outages. This will not only leave the political opposition parties with their fingers crossed but it will also expose them with no performance before the masses in the coming elections.
