Over 300 Afghan nationals held

PESHAWAR: More than 300 Afghan nationals were arrested in five days for illegally staying in the provincial capital, police officials said on Saturday.

 “Over 300 Afghan nationals who had neither having the proof of registration card, nor any travel documents, have been rounded up in the provincial capital in the last five days. All these foreigners were charged under the 14 Foreigners Act,” said an official. According to the Capital City Police, 350 suspects and criminals were held in 18 search and strike operations carried out by the police, army and other agencies during the last six days.
