947 motorcycles impounded

LAHORE
At least 947 motorcycles have been impounded across the City over the past three days.
In a handout, the chief traffic officer said the bikes were impounded as part of the continuing campaign against wheelie and underage-driving.
He said that efforts were being made to stop underage-driving and wheelie.
Action has been taken against 2,113 wheelie-doer and 25,755 underage drivers so far, he said. Another campaign by the traffic police against wrong parking and violation of traffic laws is going on, and action has been taken against more than 6,000 traffic rules voiolators.
