LAHORE
The Provincial Selection Board-I (PSB-I) recommended promotion of 20 officers to BS-19, BS-20 and BS-21 on Wednesday.
The PSB-I meeting, held at the Committee Room of Civil Secretariat, was chaired Punjab chief secretary and attended by administrative secretaries of Services, Finance, Regulation and other departments concerned. The selection board recommended the promotion of Akram Ashraf Gondal, Masood-ul-Haq, Khuram Sherwani, Sohail Arshad, Ashir Shah, Ahmed Saeed, Iqbal Nasir and others.
Meanwhile, the Punjab government Wednesday issued a notification regarding promotion of 18 officers to BS-18 and posted them as district planning officers in different districts.
Farhan Rasheed, Tariq Ali, Naveed Iftekhar, Jamal Tariq and others have been promoted to BS-18 and, upon promotion, posted as district planning officers in 18 districts of the province.
