LAHORE
Ghaziabad police Tuesday arrested three women on theft charges. The accused were identified as Robina, Shabnam alias Rabia and Kaneez Fatima. Police have recovered a stolen car, a bike and four cell phones from their possession.
accidents: Total 639 road accidents were reported to the Provincial Monitoring Cell of Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122, from all 36 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.
Seven people were killed and 498 critically injured in the accidents. The injured were shifted to hospitals.
However, some 241 victims who had sustained minor injuries were discharged on the spot after provision of first aid by emergency medical teams.
