Baloch asks Nisar to clarify Khosa’s charges
LAHORE
JI secretary-general Liaqat Baloch has noted with concern that PPP secretary-general Sardar Latif Khosa has accused Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan of being involved in display of posters asking army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif to seize power.
This was a serious matter and the interior minister should explain his position to the nation in this regard, he said while talking to JI workers and leaders who had successfully organised the Sunday’s march from Rawalpindi to Indian High Commission to protest against Indian army genocide of Kashmiri Muslims, at Mansoora on Monday.
He deplored the differences between the opposition parties at time when the anti-government movement was at a crucial stage. The country, he said, was facing political, administrative and financial crisis and the opposition was pressurising the government to quit. However, the demand for change had been raised in Sindh and KPK, he said and added although these demands were related to the internal matters of the PPP and PTI, yet these were harmful for the democratic struggle.
