KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Narendra Modi is conquering the Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK) while Nawaz Sharif is doing the same in Muzaffarabad. Rejecting the Azad Jammu and Kashmir election results, he alleged the ‘worst rigging’ took place in the polls, the Geo News reported.

During a telephonic conversation with the party’s Secretary General in the region Chaudhry Latif Akbar on Friday, Bilawal said once again the PPP was robbed of its mandate. He further said that his party would not remain silent this time around over the ‘massive rigging’.

On Wednesday, Bilawal warned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif if there was any bloodshed or rigging in the elections in Azad Kashmir, 2014’s protest would be nothing in front of theirs.

The PML-N swept the AJK Legislative Assembly election held on Thursday, bagging 31 seats out of the total of 41.

PPP and Muslim Conference secured three seats each, followed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) with two seats to its credit. The PPP AJK Chapter got one seat, while an independent candidate also emerged victorious in Thursday's election.

Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari summoned PPP’s Central Executive Committee’s (CEC) meeting after his return from Dubai in order to discuss the results of the AJK elections and future political strategy.

Sources indicated that Bilawal had decided to take major steps regarding political issues which would be approved in the CEC meeting. Furthermore, the party’s performance in the Azad Kashmir elections would also be discussed along with devising a political strategy for the future.

The CEC meeting would take place either in Islamabad or in Karachi.
