Nust, Wapda join hands for training, research

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) signed a memorandum of understanding to hold bilateral training and research for addressing water issues and quality challenges through improved governance and efficient management of water resources.
Nust Rector Engineer Muhammad Asghar and Wapda Chairman Zafar Mahmood signed the MoU. The memorandum focuses on areas, including planning and implementation of joint applied research projects and activities, creation of public awareness of water management issues, capacity building, sharing of information, and exchange and training of scientific and technical personnel.
