Three KP DIGs transferred
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has made several appointments and transfers in the bureaucracy, affecting officers from various departments and services.
Three officers of grade 20 from the Police Service of Pakistan — DIG Abdul Ghafoor Afridi, DIG Fasihuddin, and DIG Dr. Akhtar Abbas — currently serving under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, have been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Zulfiqar Younis, a grade 21 officer of the Pakistan Customs Service and currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Climate Change Division, has been transferred, with his services returned to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Muhammad Meraj Sargana, Assistant Secretary (One), Wah Cantonment Board, Ministry of Defence, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Islamabad, on deputation for a period of three years.
Majid Ali, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer at GHQ, Ministry of Defence, Rawalpindi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Directorate of Local Fund Audit, Finance Department, government of Balochistan, also on a three-year deputation.
Reham Dil Khan, Assistant Accounts Officer at the Accountant General’s Office, government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been posted as Assistant Director (Accounts), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority.
Additionally, Dr. Iram Gul, Assistant Professor at Kohat University of Science and Technology under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, has been assigned to the Federal Directorate of Education, Islamabad, as Assistant Professor on deputation for three years.
