Son of nazim shot, injured in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Armed men shot and injured the son of a nazim in the limits of Yakatoot Police Station on Wednesday.
The police said Mir Zaman, son of Nazim Mosam Khan, was attacked by armed men in the Zargarabad locality. Mir Zaman sustained serious wounds in the attack. Locals managed to chase and nab one of the attackers who was later handed over to the police.
The family has affiliation with the Awami National Party. SSP Abbas Majeed Marwat confirmed that one attacker had been held. There have been many target killing incidents in the limits of the Yakatoot Police Station.
