Pro-growth taxes

One aspect of the FY2025-26 budget emphasised by government officials is how it provides relief to the salaried class but places a greater burden on business owners. If this is indeed the case, the government is punishing entrepreneurship and innovation. Is this really the kind of visionary leadership Pakistan needs? I think not.
Pakistan requires comprehensive tax reforms, such as harmonising income tax structures, rationalising income tax rates, widening the tax base and improving overall tax administration. These reforms would help create a more equitable and efficient tax system, promoting economic growth and development.
