Ex-minister’s protective bail extended
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Tuesday extended the protective bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former provincial minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra until June 26.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Abdul Fayyaz while hearing the case also sought a report from the provincial government regarding the cases registered against the petitioner.
Petitioner’s counsel Ali Gohar Durrani informed the court that his client was a former provincial minister and requested that details of the cases registered against him be provided.The assistant attorney general informed the court that there was only one case against Jhagra in Islamabad, and that there were no cases or inquiries pending in the National Accountability Bureau or Federal Investigation Agency.
