Meat distributed among patients at paraplegic centre
PESHAWAR: The officials from various charity organisations and philanthropists visited the Paraplegic Centre Peshawar on the occasion of Eidul Azha and distributed sacrificial meat among the 98 persons with disabilities, patients, and their families.
A press release said that the Qatar Charity and Friends of Paraplegics continued their tradition of supporting patients with disabilities and their families, while the Fix It Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter brought four goats for sacrifice.
Paraplegic Centre Peshawar CEO Dr Syed Muhammad Ilyas lauded the Qatar Charity for distributing sacrificial meat among people with disabilities.He hoped that the Qatar Charity would continue to collaborate with them to promote true service and selflessness.
As per tradition, Friends of Paraplegics Peshawar continued its services during Eid. This time, a calf was sacrificed, and its meat was distributed among the patients and their caregivers as needed throughout the days of Eid.
