Olson’s insistence
By our correspondents
July 01, 2016
Richard Olson’s insistence that drone strikes will continue is nothing but a rude and arrogant answer to strong protests by the army chief and others over the illegal act of violating Pakistan’s sovereignty.
As for safety of its men in Afghanistan, the US can ensure this simply by evacuating them from the country where the locals see them as nothing but hated occupiers and demand their departure as a condition for resuming peace negotiations. And in the name of having interests, the US has also destroyed Iraq, Libya and Syria, which is nothing but deceit and butchery of a power-drunk, soulless super power.
