CTP to check overloading by PSVs

Rawalpindi: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Beenish Fatema has ordered strict action against overloading in public service vehicles (PSV) and over-charging from passengers on Eidul Azha.
The CTO Rawalpindi has issued directives to all the DSPs and Circle Officers to launch crackdown against overloading and over-charging. Those operating bus stands have also been directed to paste fares list at prominent places. The traffic officials have also been directed check of public service vehicles and driving licences of drivers. In this connection, special teams of City Traffic Police have also been constituted to check traffic violations, overloading and over-charging.
