AQ Khan legacy
The ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan only underscore the importance of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, the man who gave Pakistan the strength to face any threat with pride and power. Dr AQ Khan turned Pakistan into a nuclear state, enabling the country to secure peace through strength. When India launched Operation Sindoor, the Pakistan Air Force responded with precision and power, damaging key Indian targets and sending a clear message, Pakistan is not to be underestimated.
While Indian media hoped to spread panic and fear, the people of Pakistan were fearless, calm and even bold enough to fight back with memes and humour. Social media was filled with jokes and responses that gave a tough time to Indian media and public opinion. This fearless attitude results from confidence in our defences and that confidence was built by Dr AQ Khan.
