PESHAWAR: A trader was shot and injured by robbers after they snatched Rs 800,000 from him in busy Chowk Nasir Khan on Wednesday.
Police officials said the wounded trader, Sher Rahman, was shifted to the hospital, where he told the cops that he was taking the money to deposit it in the bank when armed motorcyclists intercepted him in the busy trade centre. Superintendent of Police City Atiq Shah visited the wounded trader and assured the robbers would be held soon.
