CM to inaugurate food testing laboratory
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food Zahir Shah Toru has announced that the province’s first-ever state-of-the-art ‘Static Provincial Food Testing Laboratory’ is near completion which will be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur soon.
Chairing a meeting to review the progress on the project, the minister said that the laboratory, being established under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority, represents a significant milestone in the province’s efforts to ensure food safety and quality.
The meeting was attended by Director General of the Food Authority Wasif Saeed, Project Director Dr Abbas, Director Operations Akhtar Nawaz, Director Technical Dr Abdul Sattar Shah, and other senior officials.
