Six of a family shot dead inside house in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: Six members of a family were shot dead and a woman was wounded when relatives opened fire inside a house in Urmar village in rural Peshawar early Monday.
The relatives and villagers later blocked the Ring Road, demanding the early arrest of the killers. They reopened the road when police officials assured the killers would be held soon.A police official said armed men broke into the house of Fazal Amin in Khattako Pul in Urmar in the wee hours and opened indiscriminate fire on all those inside the house when they were asleep.
Those who died in the firing were identified as Fazal Amin, his mother Shakila, his son Ahmad (3), daughter Huma (6), his brother Hazrat Amin and sister Naila. One sister-in-law of Fazal Amin was also wounded in the attack.
