Man shot dead in Lakki
LAKKI MARWAT: A man was killed and his brother sustained bullet injuries when their rival opened fire on them in the Dallokhel area of Lakki Marwat district on Thursday.
“Naseebullah, 30, and his brother Matiullah, 42, were going to fields on their motorcycle when their rival, Naseer, opened fire on them with his AK 47 assault rifle,” said a police official, adding that both of them fell on the ground after being hit by bullets and later Matiullah succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
Officials said that the shooting occurred over a murder enmity between the victims and killer’s families. They said that the killer managed to escape after the incident.The body and injured were shifted to the Government City Hospital and a case had been registered against the killer under relevant sections of law in the City Police Station.
