ABBOTTABAD: Speakers at a function stressed the need to empower youth through transformative education, urging a national shift from job-seekers to dream-builders.

Chief Executive Officer of Hopeman Consultant UK, Dr. Waseem Ahmed, delivered a keynote address at the Business Incubation Centre of the University of Peshawar.

He outlined a roadmap for youth empowerment, centering his speech around redefining education as a tool for character-building, national unity, and global impact.

Dr Waseem said Pakistan was not just a land; it was a living dream built on sacrifices, hopes, and divine blessings. “Today, the youth hold the pen to write its next chapter,” he added.

He emphasized that education must transcend rote learning to ignite insight, faith, and a sense of contribution, transforming students into nation-healers and change-makers.

Dr Waseem highlighted three pillars of transformative education: every child, girl or boy, must feel valued; education should equip youth to stand tall in storms, rise after falls, and rebuild amid chaos; and bridging divides through dialogue, empathy, and service to humanity.

The “Empower Pakistan” blueprint, as outlined by Dr Waseem, included four actionable goals: education with purpose—merging values, vision, and wisdom; character-driven leadership; prioritizing ethics in governance and business; and national revival.

He envisioned youth addressing global crises such as climate change and poverty. “The 21st century demands leaders who are spiritually anchored and beautiful in character,” he stated, urging institutions to nurture innovators who heal, not just rule.

The speech concluded with a call to unite knowledge, peace, and progress, hailing a future where Pakistan lights the way for humanity.

The event, attended by students, educators, and policymakers, led to a renewed commitment to pilot grassroots education reforms in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
