‘Media plays crucial role in modern-day challenges’
Islamabad:Wars today are not just fought on battlefields but also on social media platforms, said Qudsia Namoos, Nazima of Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing, Islamabad. She was addressing a workshop organized by the Women’s Wing Media Cell in the federal capital on Monday, emphasizing the importance of staying informed and spreading timely, verified information.
Highlighting the critical role of media, she remarked that the department of publicity and all those associated with it carry immense responsibility. “Being aware of national events at every moment and updating others about rapidly changing developments is essential,” she said.
Qudsia Namoos stressed that although wars are not desirable, if one is imposed, it must be confronted with determination. She emphasized the importance of awakening the spirit of jihad among the people and delivering a fitting response to the enemy.
