Girl commits suicide

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A young girl, believed to be between 17 and 20 years old, allegedly took her own life by jumping into the River Indus from Darya Khan Bridge here on Saturday.
According to eyewitnesses, the girl was wearing green clothing and was adorned with two gold rings. The identity of the girl remains unknown at this time.
Local boatmen immediately responded to the incident and managed to recover the body from the river. The remains were handed over to Rescue 1122 personnel, who then transferred the body to the Civil Hospital Dera Ismail Khan.
