Security agencies key to curb crimes

LAHORE: The security agencies including police played a proactive role to combat crimes and terrorism in order to establish law and order and lasting peace.
These views were expressed during an intellectual sitting held under the aegis of National Vision Think Tank (NVTT) with Special Additional IG Punjab Tariq Abbas Qureshi in the chair. The Special Additional IG Punjab advocated for promoting the culture of raising questions with a view to organically cleanse the system for public development. Qureshi said that it is high time to bring comprehensive and logical reforms to improve the performance of the police.
