HAFIZABAD: A ceremony was held at Fawara Chowk where the district administration lit candles and offered prayers for the children martyred during Indian aggression.
Assistant Commissioner Salman Akbar and Chief Officer Municipal Committee Ikramullah Sindhu joined a gathering of traders, social organisation representatives, citizens, and children, many of whom held portraits of the young victims. Attendees expressed their unwavering resolve that the sacrifice of these children and other martyrs would not be in vain, expressing confidence in the Pakistan Army’s retaliation against India. They pledged solidarity with the armed forces, affirming national unity and readiness to sacrifice for the country. Candles were lit and prayers were offered for the martyrs’ eternal peace.
