Indian attack widely condemned
LAHORE:Punjab Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafiq and Housing Minister Bilal Yasin have strongly condemned India’s military aggression.
They said that India targeted unarmed civilians to save its so-called "Chaudhrahat", but the cowardly actions of the Indian army will not demoralise the Pakistani people. The Local Government Minister said that the Indian Prime Minister took military action to save his political reputation, but Narendra Modi’s move also damaged India’s military reputation.
Bilal Yasin said that the Pakistani nation was with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. "We have full confidence in the military preparations of the Pakistan Army", he pledged. They said that India has started the war by proving that it was a peace-loving country, now the Pakistan Army will decide its next steps. "The entire nation is with its brave forces to defend the country", they vowed.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) condemned cowardly attacks on innocent civilians perpetrated by Indian forces. The PMA Secretary General Dr Abdul Ghafoor Shoro in a statement said that the Association expressed profound grief for the victims and extend heartfelt condolences to their families.
He said that Pakistani medical professionals stand united with military, prepared to provide any and all necessary medical assistance as they defend our nation's honour and territorial integrity. The PMA strongly believes that war is not the solution to any dispute, he said, adding the entire nation stands united against this aggression and possesses the strength and determination to defend itself. The PMA urged the international community to recognise the gravity of these attacks on civilians and to hold India accountable for its actions.
