19 die on road in 24 hours

LAHORE:Around 19 people died, whereas 1,482 were injured in 1,276 road traffic accidents in all 37 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.
Out of these, 644 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 838 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue medical teams. Meanwhile, two individuals died in different incidents here. The first incident occurred near 32 Chowk on Ravi Road, where an unidentified man collapsed and died while offering prayers. In a separate incident, 60-year-old Mushtaq, a resident of Sambrial, died in a traffic accident near Multan Road in Chuhng. Police confirmed the elderly man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Bodies were shifted to morgue.
