The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) has completed the repair work of a major water pipeline at the University of Karachi, according to a statement issued by its spokesperson on Sunday.
Following the repair, the process of charging the bulk water lines has begun, after which water flow will gradually resume in the distribution lines across the city. According to the KWSC, the regular water supply is expected to be fully restored by Monday.
The spokesperson apologised for the inconvenience caused to the residents during the disruption in water supply, and acknowledged the challenges faced by them. The KWSC reaffirmed that it prioritises delivering reliable services and facilities to the public.
