Jobless youth attempts suicide

DASKA: A jobless youth tried to commit suicide in the area of city police on Saturday.

Reportedly, Nabeel was unemployed for as long time and he used to quarrel with his family members. On the day of the incident, he took poisonous pills and was shifted to civil hospital and then referred to Gujranwala in a critical condition.

MAN DIES IN ACCIDENT: A man killed in a road accident in the area of city police on Saturday. Irfan of Lahore was hit by a speeding truck and died on the spot.

BODY RECOVERED: City police Saturday received a body from the BRB canal. The locals spotted the body floating in the canal and alerted the police. Police retrieved the body.

WOMAN INJURED: A woman was shot at by an unidentified youth in the city area. Woman (A) was going to morning walk when a youth shot at and injured her. She was shifted to civil hospital.

VALUABLES TAKEN AWAY: Robbers Saturday snatched cash and valuables from a youth. Arslan Ahmed was on the way to home and near vegetable market three dacoits intercepted him and snatched cash, a cell phone and his motorcycle.
