Alleged bandit killed in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Security forces killed an alleged bandit and arrested another during a fire exchange on Thursday, official sources said.

It was learnt that information was received about a robbery involving passenger vehicles near Garah Khan on the Dera-Daraban Road in the jurisdiction of Daraban Police Station.Security forces arrived at the scene. An exchange of gunfire ensued between the robbers and the forces, during which one of the robbers, identified as Hussain Malwana, was killed. Another was apprehended, while a third, named Minhaj, fled.

Two repeaters, along with ammunition, were recovered from the suspects.The Daraban Police registered a case. Meanwhile, Regional Police Officer Syed Ashfaq Anwar visited Daraban Police Station after a terrorist attack last night.
