Two die in separate road accidents

LAHORE:Two individuals lost their lives in separate traffic accidents at different locations here Friday. In the first incident, a 35-year-old Ansar Bashir died near Karol Ghati in the Gujjarpura area when a speeding truck ran over his motorcycle. The victim died on the spot. Eyewitnesses reported that the truck fled the scene after the collision. In a separate accident near Pakka Meel on Multan Road in Chuhng, a 30-year-old pedestrian, identified as Taimour, son of Shafiq, and a resident of Sialkot, died after being struck by a motorcycle rickshaw. The impact caused him to fall onto the road, where he was fatally crushed by an oncoming truck. Edhi Foundation ambulances shifted the bodies to the morgue.
