Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced significant relief in per unit rates of electricity by Rs7.41 and Rs7.59 for domestic, industrial consumers, respectively. This is indeed a commendable effort on the part of the incumbent government.
To make things even better for the people, the government should also abolish the electricity bill slabs which are making life difficult for lower-income and middle class consumers.
