FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested two notorious human traffickers involved in the 2023 Libya boat tragedy.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the suspects, identified as Attaullah and Faisal Shehzad, were apprehended from Sialkot. The duo was allegedly involved in charging large sums from citizens and attempting to smuggle them to Italy via Libya. The victims were reportedly held hostage and tortured at safe houses in Libya.
