Bail plea of terror suspect rejected

PESHAWAR: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) here on Saturday rejected the bail plea of a suspect accused of raising funds for the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Wali Muhammad Khan. During the proceedings, the court was informed that the accused, Adnan, was allegedly collecting donations for the banned outfit and was also involved in recruiting people to join the banned TTP. The prosecution told the court that at the time of his arrest, authorities recovered a donation collection card and funds linked to the banned outfit from the suspect’s possession.
