PTI leader Panjotha’s bail confirmed in protest case
Court expresses displeasure over lack of notification of Section 144 with file

ISLAMABAD: Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka confirmed the bail of PTI leader Naeem Haider Panjotha in a case filed over a protest outside the Supreme Court. During the hearing on Thursday, Sardar Muhammad Shusheef Khan Advocate, Murtaza Turi and Ansar Kayani appeared on behalf of Naeem Panjotha. The court expressed displeasure over the lack of notification of Section 144 with the file. As the arguments were completed, the court confirmed the bail in lieu of bonds worth Rs 5,000. A case had been filed against Naeem at the Secretariat Police Station.
